The Paragraph Principle

The paragraph is the unit that builds texts. A self-contained paragraph, along with its title, could stand alone as a text. A well-written note forms at least one paragraph, otherwise it's a simple reminder.

Minimally, a paragraph includes three sentences. Less than that looks trendy, but shows snobbishness, or maybe just that one earns a living by filling out a column.

Writing three sentences seems the only way to transform intuitions into conclusions. The flow of sentences could finish with an idea that follows "And so it is that...". Everything that does not help this idea could be suppressed. If only two sentences remain, then no real reasoning took place.

Saying only one thing at a time. Repeating variations on themes. Digressing at some point for fun, and pointing to some remote end. Always showing this end until it is understood as an end, then stopping the world of words.
