Count to Five

Breathing in, I calm my body.
Breathing out, I smile.
Dwelling in the present moment,
I know this is a wonderful moment.

Researchers [1] have rediscovered that breathing can help control heartbeats. And so there seems to be a fuzz around cardiac coherence these days. Here is the first exercise usually prescribed :

Set a timer to three minutes. Start it, then hide it away. Breath out while counting to five ; breath in while counting to five. Repeat breathing cycles twenty times without looking at the timer. Repeating the exercice three times each day, the breathings should near three minutes. If one adds to this exercise the focus on the plexus, one gets something like the meditation of the heart.

And so the mind calms itself and joy happens. And so goes off the indignation regarding the consumerization of practices belonging to human public. Gone, gone, gone beyond, gone completely beyond. Praise to awakening.
