Just say it. At least say it the first time, simply to see what needs to be said. Loud and clear, with nouns and verbs, without weasel words.
Weasel words obscure meaning, or worse create the illusion of conveying information. Few expressions deserve nuance. The sea of shallow sentences have claimed her share of writers.
Just saying it might not always suffice. Then say it again, but with more feeling. In a way that the original intent emerges, modulated by one's own voice. Amplified by the calmness of that voice.
