Use anything that works. Use every modes that work. Write in a real notebook. Away from the computer. Keep it with you. Carry a pen, you might use it. Write on texts. If you don't want to spend on printing it, why keep it? Working with paper, recycling after use. Easier to ditch an outdated idea kept on a dirty napkin. In a computer, everything seems so bright.
